Google has updated its Search Console Performance report filters, allowing users to select and analyze search traffic of multiple countries at a time. Google Search Central announced the multi-country filter in Performance report update on LinkedIn on October 6, 2026, saying;
"Today we’re updating the Search Console performance report filters to make it easier for you to analyze traffic patterns across different countries and devices. If you operate in multiple countries, you can now view their combined Google Search traffic. Try it out!"
How Does the Multi-Country Filter Operates?
Google's screenshot on LinkedIn highlights the Country filter, with two tabs, Filter and Compare, and checkboxes for different countries. For example, the screenshot above shows three countries selected: Brazil, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Users can select all these countries by clicking Apply and analyze the performance together instead of reviewing each market separately.
The Old Filtering Method
Previously, when users wanted data for multiple devices, search types, countries, or search appearance types, they had to rely on the Compare option, which was limited to two items. This comparison shows a Difference column that highlights what differs, and you can only make one comparison at a time.
Google's current announcement mentions updates to device and country filters. However, the announcement does not provide any detailed information about exactly what has changed in the Device filter. Google's Search Console help page still describes a comparison feature that shows only two countries side by side. This means the documentation may not have been updated yet to showcase the new functionality.
The Way Forward!
The new multi-country filter in Performance report is here to help businesses, SEO professionals and marketers who manage international websites. They can view combined traffic data and evaluate regional performance without manually combining separate reports.
